in 2010 i was born again: i quit my theatre job to hang out with the band
i slept in basement floors and parking lots
and headed west without a compass or a plan
and the scene that wouldn't have me now is dead
and i'm pretty sure i'm to blame
they were all trying to make a mountain
selfish me was only trying to make a name

now half my friends are settled down
and the other half are just trying to stay out of jail
